Re.Dancing – playing the movement
Re.Dancing is a participative installation born from research led by Contredanse with the American choreographer Lisa Nelson. Two joysticks and a screen. Through this simple device, participants are invited to revisit images of choreographic pieces.
The workshop proposes to go from movement to installation and vice versa. Explore movement through simple actions such as slowing down, speeding up, pausing, going back. To play with repetitions in the body as well as in the video. Composing a choreography or a video montage in real time is what we will propose in this playful workshop.
Re.Dancing is an invitation to explore one’s way of seeing, feeling and composing dance while discovering works of choreographic heritage.
This event is organized as part of Danses en fête.
Free on reservation.
