Jouer aux Tuning Scores – une pratique partagée

As part of the event Lisa Nelson – Danser, une façon de voir, taking place from 8 to 17 October 2026 in Paris and Brussels, Contredanse and Atelier de Paris are hosting a day of collective practice reserved for people who already have experience of the Tuning Scores.

This day offers a space for reconnecting and collective practice, in the presence of Lisa Nelson and several artists and researchers who have been working with the Tuning Scores for many years.

The Tuning Scores are a practice developed by Lisa Nelson since the 1970s, based on the question: “What are we looking at when we look at a dance?” They are both a warm-up for attention, sensation, and imagination, and an aesthetic game of collective dance (re)composition. This day is an opportunity to return to this practice in a collective and shared setting, ahead of the public events that will follow in Paris and Brussels.

The day is facilitated by a group of experienced Tuning Scores practitioners, who will accompany the participants throughout the day.

With Baptiste Andrien, Stéphanie Auberville, Franck Beaubois, Claude Boillet, Florence Corin, Pascale Gille, and Lisa Nelson.
