Archives in the city
From 4th August to 15th September, the exhibition Archives in the city can be seen at Place De Brouckère as part of the Brussels Dance Festival. It features a selection of photos from the book Danser, une histoire, published by Contredanse Editions.
Over the past century, dance in Belgium has been transformed. Crossed by artistic currents, social movements and aesthetic revolutions, it has been taking shape in studios, theaters and public spaces. Through 24 photographs, Archives in the city highlights dance in all its forms.
