Scientifiquement danse takes stock of the many interactions between dance and science. Both disciplines question the body and its relationship to the world, and each has developed its own modes of research and knowledge. Combining accounts of experiments, historical texts and interviews, theories of physics are interwoven into choreographic composition, movement analysis draws on medicine, and digital technologies open up new areas of exploration for dance.
