Call for Applications: Writing Grant and Publication in Dance

Are you working on a dance-related research project and wish to finalize and publish it?
Contredanse and Charleroi danse are joining forces to offer a €3,000 writing grant, workspace, and editorial support to help you bring your research to completion and publication.
Please note that the research and publication must be written in French.
Who is it for?
Dancers, choreographers, researchers, or educators based in Wallonia-Brussels Federation or whose project is connected to this region.
What does the program offer?
→ 3,000 € grant to support the finalization of your research.
→ Two residency periods (at Contredanse Documentation Center and La Raffinerie).
→ Editorial and documentary support through four structured meetings.
→ Publication of your research as a 32-page book, co-published by Contredanse and Charleroi danse.
Key Dates:
→ Applications open: January 13, 2025
→ Deadline for submissions: March 30, 2025
→ Results announced: May 5, 2025
Selection Criteria:
We seek original projects with a clear methodology and a unique contribution to the field of dance, written in French.
