Documentation Centre

The Dance Documentation Centre was established by Contredanse in 1989 to create a repository of dance knowledge, support research, and challenge the archiving and transmission of dance. The collection of documents in its library, visual media library, specialty journals, photos, press clippings, programmes and other archived documents are available to the public for consultation purposes.

Document collection

The Documentation Center brings together a wide range of documents related to dance: books, specialized magazines, press clippings, photos, audiovisual archives, conference papers, theses and other original works, etc.

Access to the documents:

All our documents remain onsite (they cannot be borrowed); there is a copy machine available.

Covid measures

Booking is not required anymore.

Visitors are requested to wear a face mask, and respect social distancing.

Hand sanitiser is provided at the entrance.
